I saw the Canon IXUS 210 today at FNAC, and I came to one conclusion;

i want it badly.

It costs 250euros which equals to RM1000 which is reasonable for a new branded compact digital camera. I only have two questions for this mesmerizable gadget; Is it the latest from Canon? Can it do the smart panoramic view picture like Sony’s? I need the internet to gain access to such data. Currently, I’m in Nancy, staying with my old friend, Baim for the weekend (and his what-look-like-a-store place doesn’t have such luxury). I don’t really know the exact reason why I’m here but I have two exams next week, which is Basic on Tuesday and Achat on Wednesday and I haven’t studied a sh*t. I really need to get my arse to start working… Tomorrow, me Adely Kassim going to spend the whole day studying Basic and Achat! FIGHTING!!! =)

yesterday, i was reminded y i took logistics.
i went to the R&D sector and gosh, i cant find any other place i dont wanna be at..
they still have those cubique face centrique models, tons of notes to write, understanding stuff that we dont see with naked eyes..

In logistics, its just awesome.
we learn about the evolution of the industrial world, management skill, how to increase the company's productivity..
Awesome stuff..
stuff we can see and improve and we can see the result. Sure R&D too, but its just in a different way.. the way that make my brain go cold.

R&D is more about theoretical, a lot of writing; its like going back to school.
i cant do tht anymore.
R&D is important and thank God we have students who's doing it.. haha

Big Fat Virus

Out of the blue, my pc got molested by a notorious virus.
It came, it saw, it concurred my pc.
What it did?
Just one clever thing; prevent any program from running.
By doing this, it shuts down my anti-virus and i cant restart it. It also prevents me to manually stop it with Ctrl-Alt-Delete. In other words, there's nothing we can do to touch it. Its quite invincible.
Any prog i want to run, a message appeared saying it's infected.
My windows keep telling me that i should turn on my anti-virus, but not using the antivirus i already have.. An unknown antivirus prog is now acting as if it's my regular antivirus but ofcourse after it detects all the viruses in my pc, it recommends me to buy the real thing. This occasion keeps occurring and there's nothing i can do.
My internet was going wild, advertising some websites, repeatedly..

i will put hear the method tht i use to solve this problem.
i choose to write this one down in my blog because my friend recommended me to reformat my pc. So i thought, what if somebody else was in my shoe and took his friend's advice?
I figured this entry could help somebody out there..
Reformat is a big word, most people tend to avoid from having to go through all the hard work of reformatting..
Here what i did:

First of all pull out your internet cable or turn off your wifi signal. Let those stupid fool loose you...
Go to safe mode (if u dont know how to do this, just plug off ur pc while it's still running and restart, it will give u the option to go to safe mode)
Run your antivirus scan. Meanwhile, follow these steps below:
Type msconfig in your start menu. Click Enter. (or run for windows XP)
Go to 'startup' tab.
Search for any weird program registered in the list. What i mean by weird? Names u never heard of, u never recalled ever installing it, usually it is stated unknown in the manufacturer (for windows 7) section. example, mine it has 'YXE7DXCQ37' for its name. u can also see in the command section to consider if it is a useful program.. A virus from the internet usually will reside in 'Appdata\Local\Temp' (to see in its command)
Uncheck it. (u can also use this method to throw away any unnecessary program lagging your pc when u start up)
Click apply.
Note down the address in its command. Our target is to go to the place where the virus is residing and delete all of its programs manually.
Go to the folder mentioned in the address, while viewing in details, delete any file type executable program created the day u got that horrific virus. It makes u wonder where these programs came from when on that day, u didnt install anything.. Delete those losers! (Shift-delete!) Infact, delete any file u find weird created on that tragic date and at that tragic time. Just to be safe..
After the virus scan (Usually they wont find anything..) try restart in normal mode.

Thts it, its very simple. With some basic knowledge and logical thinking, we can safe our pc from the infamous reformat.

i got hit by this obnoxious team of viruses again. Seriously out of the blue, i only have the normal websites tab on my Modzilla. Probably its bcoz of this new place...
Symptoms:
-Windows asking my permission to let some program run keep popping up.
-An unknown antivirus suddenly appear (just like before) telling me i have tons of viruses in my pc.

I didnt let any of those programs to run and since this time Ctrl-Alt-Delete works,
i get to see which programs want to ruin my lovely day without having to go to safemode.
As i said before, most viruses from the internet will reside in Appdata\Local\Temp, so i went there, tried to delete everything that came today. Some refuses to be deleted, but u just have to stop their processes through the system manager.
Some badass program can easily be recognize, some is a bit tricky like the iexplorer.exe..
But u can see their name in the Temp folder so no matter how useful they sound like, u just delete after stopping their processes. Or right click the suspicious program u have in your system manager list, and see its directory.
Example this guy came with the name winlogon:

Here's what u have:
- it is run not by the system, but by me.
- its description is the repetition of its name
- its directory is in the Temp folder.

What to do?:
- kick the stop processes button and shift-delete the uninvited App.

Result:
- A lovely Saturday morning (or any day depends on what day u're on..)

so far.. damn.

I want to clarify something here, even though I know there’s 99.9% probability there won’t be anybody reading this entry other than myself…
There’s a photo of me wearing UMNO shirt at an UMNO assembly in facebook. I want to enlighten you guys that that doesn’t mean I’m an UMNO supporter. I was there to deepen my knowledge on their activities. I want to know what’s going on at an UMNO assembly and thanks to some of my good friends in Penang; I was given the opportunity to do so. It was a very profitable to me in terms of getting to know better of the UMNO in Penang. That was all, it was an opportunity to widen my experience and I took it. But it doesn’t mean I’m now an UMNO boy.
Second, I want to be a good English writer but most of the times I just read. I rarely write. That’s why my grammar is getting worst. I know that my knowledge is very low, and I sometimes forget the facts that I’ve read. My idols, they’re damn good, they’re able to memorize tons of dates, billions of facts, infinite incidence and so on... They’re like superhuman like Angelina Jolie in her film “Salt”.

It’s Oman Air, Not Omar Air.

When I was in Paris, a few hours before boarding Omar, I mean Oman Air, I had so many doubts. I started to think why I even bought the tickets. What is Oman Air? I will spend 15hours above ground and 14 of them are inside the infamous cheap airplane. There will be children running around, 1 small screen at the front for everybody in the economy class. I would be suffering the whole time! Why did I buy those tickets? Why was I too tight on spending my budgets? Gosh!!

I arrived at the airport with 45minutes behind my schedule and with two luggages; I went straight to terminal 2A. I saw the name “Oman Air” at the nearest two counters next to some counters with tons of people in the line. “Not so many people in Oman Air.. Small company...” I thought to myself. I also noticed they put blue carpet in their line, “They are really desperate to attract clients…” I said with a grin. As I was getting nearer, I saw the word “1st class” on the screen, “Ups, wrong line” so I went to the counter next to it, this time, it was “Business class” attached at the front. I uttered “Ups, wrong again” with a silly giggle, the woman at the counter heard me and she point to the side. The counters with tons of people at the front are also Oman Air... That’s the Economy Class…

At the line there are a lot of Indians and a couple of French (they seem to stand out from the rest of the heard...) I started to think if the country this airline belongs to is an Indian country… With these people in the line, I can already foresee my future...

I went straight for the tax free zone to buy some chocolates for my family. I gave my passport at the only passport checker counter available and the officer took it slackenly before continuing to play with his iphone. I then passed the one and only security check point where I took a photo of the officer whose duty is to monitor what’s inside people’s luggage and he was also enjoying a FIFA match game through his iphone:

They use foreign stewardess (like Thailand) and they wear that hat when we've landed in Muscat

Before boarding Oman Air, I was not even sure whether it’s Omar or Oman Air, or the country I’ll be visiting for the transit. When people asked me, I just said, it’s Omar on Oman Air and the transit is somewhere in the Arab countries. I was that naïve.

How ignorant I was, Oman is the name of its country and Muscat (not Moscow) is where my transit is, which the capital city of Oman is. I learned a lot, well that’s because I didn’t know much before..

The heat in Muscat was unbearable. The minute I went out, I thought I was next to a machine but even when im down on the ground heading towards the bus, the heat was still there. It was not the sun, no, not like in Msia where the sun tells u it’s hot or not, in Muscat, the condition is the same as we’re in a microwave; it’s the air that’s heating us up.

Inside the airport, I thought I wouldn’t meet any Msian, how wrong I was as I ended up with groups of Msian, also waiting for the same airplane after their Umrah. I get to talk with some folks and share our stories.

I continue my journey back to Msia in the lovely plane of Oman Air, sitting next to Anand, a UK student whom I found to be interesting and easy-going.

In KLIA, I didn’t waste my time to get my first MILO ICE from their KFC before boarding back to Penang. I met another interesting person who told me that anyone can do a research, no need for a good educational background to give a presentation in an international forum.

I landed in Penang at about 1.25am.

The conclusion of my trip is, i saved about RM1000 compared to MAS with a longer trip but not a less comfortable one. i hope this article opens ur mind towards Oman Air.

It was 11.10pm when i called my friend.

After asking him whether or not he still wants to do his laundry at my place,

he replied in a flabbergasted manner, "U're still at the university??"

"Well, i told u i'll call u once im ready to go back, since i havent called u, it means im still at the university"

Yeah, i have finished all of my exms, come to think of it, i could say that my forth year has finished.. but i'm still stuck, doing late night work at the university. Thanks to the infamous industrial project of course..

Well, today's not so good,

i missed my mornink lecture bcoz i failed to wake up.

i slept at 5.30am, trying to finish something for the project.

i thought 1 hour of sleep should be enough, but i guess i miscalculated..

i wonder what the lecturer thought about me.

My friends told me he shook his head in despair after i didnt reply to his lovely call in the lecture hall.

Him and me, we have a connection..

even he, doesnt know why,

it started with me, missing one of his lecture, but its the lecture where, for the first time, he noted the student's presence.

He never noted student's presence before or afterwards, until today that is..

Yeah, we have some special connection..

even he said that to me.

I was angry with him for worsening my life for just 1 time absent,

and he..

Well, he seems to get himself closer to students who doesnt like him..

Back to the telephone conversation..

After i spoke to my friend and decided its best that he does his laundry tomorrow, i took off into the darkness outside for a 30-min walk home.

Accompanying me was the rain and continuous song of Lady Gaga's Tik Tok from my mobile phone.

At about 12pm, i found myself at the front door of my place.

i made a call and watched wats the head line on theSun. - Some Najib's plan to turn Msia into a developed country.. - Not interested.

Took my bath,

felt empty in stomach,

remembered that i haven't had my dinner,

took out my kokocrunch,

and m now finishing it while writing this blog.

Tmrw, again, to the university to finish the "lovely" project.

After 2 years of using Bitdefender for my laptop,

i have 1 thing to say,

DONT USE IT.

It's lagging my laptop with its vsserv.exe

for some occasion, i just ended the program to make my laptop runs faster.

i went to its forum, and to my despair, i was not alone.

Their technical support urge you to upgrade to their 2010 version (wow, what a surprise..)

Alas, upgrading to its 2010 version doesnt solve the problem.

This antivirus program is just too heavy,

and its not that effective too, i still got viruses that i have to manually delete.

Seeing the existence of countless antivirus out there, i advice u to use that money on a much lighter one. Maybe AVS should do it

Scratch DVD

i managed to read from a finalized or unfinalized scratched mini DVD.

Why i say its finalized or unfinalized?
because i myself am not sure of its state.
I dun have any option, to finalize or unfinalize the DVD using its dvd camcorder.
but i think it has never been finalized..

Here's the story, i recorded an event using a dvd camcorder which had warned me about an error on the disk which i've ignored because of my ignorance..
When i wanted to finalize the dvd in order to be able to play it on my pc, the camcorder didnt gave me that possibility.
It was apparent that the dvd got a big nasty lightning-resemblance scratch on it.
After days of research through the internet and went to electrical shops, i finally found a method to solve this problem and i think i should spread it out incase other people fell in the same shithole i was in and u guys dont have to spend hours trying this and that to get back those lovely memory out of the freaking DVD just like i did.

First of all, the electrical shops didnt help..
It all came down to the internet research.

If none of the steps given helped u, (as was in my case),
here's what u gotta do:

Software needed:
1. Nero (any version would do)
2. Iso Buster (u need to have the full version)

2 easy steps to follow:
1. One of the steps in the link given above demands u to copy the entire DVD on another new DVD using Nero, do that if u havent.
Example for Nero 9:

Select the "Rip and Burn" tab then select "Copy Disc" and finally "Copy Entire DVD."

Older versions can do the same thing except the tabs are a bit different.

2. Get your .VOB files with IsoBuster using the NEW DVD. (the one u've copied all the data into)
Here's the methode: (taken from the link)

1. Start Isobuster then load the disc.
2. When Isobuster has detected the files on the disc run the Find Missing Files and Folders option under the File menu.
3. You will now have an entry on the left hand column of Files and folders found by their signature.
4. Select that, then go to File, Files found via their signature then Extract files found via their signature. Choose a location and let it run.

It is that simple, only 2 steps.. The problem with the link above is that, on their last method, they didnt tell you to use a copied DVD with IsoBuster..
Oh well, it took me days with try and error to get this 2 simple steps..

The can has one big hole.
It tried to cover it, but ends miserably.

It tried and tried, but the hole is still there.
Who can help this empty can?

it is a weak can.
a very weak can,

Iran to shut down Google e-mail service: WSJ

SAN FRANCISCO (Feb 11): The Iranian government said it will permanently suspend Google Inc's e-mail service in the country, the Wall Street Journal reported on its website on Wednesday.

The report comes as Iran braces for new opposition protests on Thursday during rallies marking the 1979 Islamic revolution. Protesters made use of modern networking tools such as Twitter and Gmail instant messaging last June after a disputed election plunged Iran into crisis.

Google is already at loggerheads with China's government after it threatened to withdraw from the country last month over claims of online attacks and issues over censorship.

Iran's telecommunications agency announced the suspension and said a national e-mail service for Iranian citizens would soon be rolled out, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The Journal said it was not yet clear what effect the move has had on Google's Gmail service in Iran.

There was no immediate comment from Teheran, where it was after midnight when the news broke. Opposition leaders have called on supporters to take to the streets on Thursday, raising the risk of renewed violence.

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The US State Department could not confirm the report, but said any efforts to keep information from Iranians would fail.

"While information technologies are enabling people around the world to communicate ... like never before, the Iranian government seems determined to deny its citizens access to information, the ability to express themselves freely, network and share ideas," State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said.

What’s happening with Malaysia? The country has long been viewed in Australia as not only an especially friendly Southeast Asian neighbour — the “recalcitrant” Mahathir Mohammad excepted, though he’s been retired six years — but also a model of middle-class success and tolerance in that region.

Today, however, the country is having a hard time holding things together, in the face of religious and ethnic divides, political battles, and economic challenges.

Michael Danby, who chairs Australia’s foreign affairs subcommittee, told parliament last Tuesday night that “fellow democrats around Asia are flabbergasted at events unfolding in Kuala Lumpur.”

He was referring to the second trial of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim for sodomy.

“For the second time,” Danby said, “the Malaysian legal system is being manipulated by supporters of the incumbent government to drive Malaysia’s best-known leader, Anwar Ibrahim, out of national politics.

“For the second time, documents are being forged, witnesses are being coerced, and evidence is being fabricated. This trial, like the first trial, is a disgrace to Malaysia, a country that aspires to democratic norms.”

Danby said it was long past time that Malaysia repealed these British colonial laws, which could not then be used for such political purposes.

“In the second place, everyone in Malaysia, and everyone in the international legal community, knows that Anwar is innocent of these charges.”

The underlying problem is that Anwar, leader of the People’s Justice Party, is the first charismatic Malay opposition politician with sufficient appeal for Malay voters to pose a real threat to Umno’s 52-year hold on power.

This episode indicates that it’s also long past time Umno took a spell in opposition, as Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party is doing.

Najib also has to tackle the over-reliance on oil money — for more than 40 per cent of government revenues — while just 2.3 million of the 28 million population pay income tax. And he needs to open more sectors of the economy to foreign investors.

That’s hard to do, while at the same time grappling with the plethora of problems resulting from Malaysia’s restrictive religious laws, reflecting Islam’s role as the state religion.

One such scandal comprised the tragic case of Lina Joy, aged 45, who was born into a Muslim family but began attending a church in 1990 and was baptised in 1998, and naturally wished to marry her Christian fiance. But marriage between Muslim women and non-Muslim men is forbidden under Malaysian law, and after years of battling the authorities in the courts, in 2007 she was refused permission to convert formally.

This year, Malaysia has seen its simmering religious and racial conflicts boil over after a ruling of the High Court that the Malay language pages of the Catholic Church’s weekly newspaper, the Herald, could use the term “Allah” as a translation for “God”.

Malaysian Christians say they have used “Allah” for God for centuries.

The government is appealing the decision. But in the meantime, it has triggered violent protests from Muslim Malays who comprise 60 per cent of the population, and who claim exclusive rights over the Arabic word “Allah”. Christians comprise just 9 per cent of Malaysians.

Eleven churches, a Sikh temple and two Muslim prayer rooms have been attacked so far, as a result of the row, and the severed heads of three wild boars — considered unclean by Muslims — with their mouths stuffed with bank notes, in plastic bags, were found outside two mosques.

The High Court last April sentenced to death two policemen who were assigned to the office of Najib Razak, the then deputy prime minister and defence minister. They were found guilty of murdering a Mongolian woman who had had a relationship with Abdul Razak Baginda, a defence analyst for a think tank, and had translated for him on a deal to buy submarines from France.

Abdul Razak, arrested for abetting the murder, was acquitted. But the motives for the policemen to have killed Atlantuyaa — by explosives — remain murky.

Martin Jones says: “Malay political scandals and the cynicism they engender, together with the bitter debate over the ‘Allah affair’, are seriously fragmenting the Malay community, whilst minority communities are increasingly rejecting the Umno model of Satu Malaysia (1 Malaysia). I suspect this portends some trouble ahead for the Malay political process.”

Razak has launched a multimedia 1 Malaysia campaign to promote the virtues of “perseverance, a culture of excellence, acceptance, loyalty, education, humility, integrity, and meritocracy.”

This looks to be a hurdle too high for a political establishment whose credibility is too low, for an economy that for two years has suffered net outflows of foreign investment, and for a culture suffering some confusion.

Jones points out: “It’s somewhat ironic that an ostensibly puritanical political culture that won’t contemplate a Beyonce concert seems to lap up details of Anwar’s alleged penetration of his aide.”

Before, i wrote about politics not about doing what's right n wrong, they just play that card to hold the great power of heading the administration. Now, i have to add this one on. PR slam Penang's opposition leader, Datuk Azhar Ibrahim for his 'bad' gesture. i know Azhar, he live behind my house, my mom is a gud friend of his wife n i used to go to his house when i was still in schul. He was suspended from an assembly meeting just because he refused to apologize to Sim Tze Tzin (PKR) for saying the word 'kerat' to some PR assemblymen. Sim said he was only asking for a simple apology. He was also accused of showing his butt when he bent to take his beg.
WHAT THE??

Oh... PR is all gud n everything, but what's this? Before in power, they were lamenting non-stop about freedom of speech n expression tht has been taken away by the government, n now tht they're on the top, what exactly r they doing?
So what if this Azhar guy said something tht annoys them, everyone does whether they intend to or not. It's his right to express his feeling right? The very right u guys were lamenting about not having. Cant u just forgive him n get along with it? Y the need to go so far for your highly demanded simple apology? What u guys r doing is exactly what the UMNO did when they're in power.

Hari ni, aku balik kerja cam biasa, awal skit dr planning sbb nk beli brg dapur seket kat Carrefour. Hujan antara renyai2 dn lebat gila babeng, cuaca dh gelap hanya diterangi lampu jln dn lampu kreta, aku pun kluarkn la payung brtuahku..
Lepas 5min camtu jln , angin start jadi gagah. Aku pun brtahan dgn payungku yg ku anggap tidak kurang kegagahannya. Jarak da lagi 15min jln kaki. Punya la aku brtahan meredah angin kuat dgn payung ku dlm hujan di tepi jalan dimana kreta asyik berdesum.

Politics in Msia, probably even before 1988, is not about what's right and wrong, but its about to walk in the corridor of power.

U can lay all your ideologies n agenda, but the truth is, its all about holding the power. UMNO is the winning political party due to the genius of their leaders before.

Long time ago, i heard that PAS would dissolve itself if UMNO is to apply Islamic principales in its governance.

Why is this?

the phrase "Politics is dirty" is true as any true fact can be, especially in UMNO. But it doesnt say that politics is a wrong thing. Sure its dirty, but who said anything about it being the wrong thing u might want to get urself into?

In UMNO, no matter u came with an honest vision to bring prosperity to the country, u have to get ur hand dirty to be on the top.
Thats just the way it is. Politics is dirty.

So what if u're a religious person, and u see bad administration is at work. u want to change things but nobody listen to u, atleast not the ones at the top. U want to go to the top urself and make some real changes but with the rules of the controlling party which u need to get ur hand dirty first, u cant. Plus, in UMNO, if u disagree with the leader or act indifferently from their hard core culture, u'll never get the green light to go up and risked of getting kicked out, so u have to endured silent and just-obey till u get d position u want (like the great attempt by Anwar). When there is a group of people in this condition, u have yourself; PAS.

But does it make PAS a real political party? Do they have what it takes to really governing our country and ensure its economical stability as well as other prospects? Atleast it started with the question of right and wrong, i dont think they were really contesting to grab the power but merely wanting their voice to be heard. If not why make such a statement about dissolving if UMNO is to follow what they want? but like i said, if i have to guess, i'ld say political condition being just about to held the controlling power started in 1988 when the new UMNO was borned. This new UMNO came by misleading people into thinking they are the same party that help this country to achieve its independance. Their general assembly banner dated back even before it was founded, until now, is a lie and by law, it is a crime. Argue as u may, the real reason of giving the same name is to gain people support, no matter if its a bit of lying. Thus showing their real agenda..

PKR wont even emerge if not because of Anwar, so what is his agenda?
Again he played the 'what's right and wrong' cards. But he was more brutal, his attention was clear, to topple the dominance. Promising a better tomorrow, he was sincere in showing his true agenda which is again; to held the power..

U have to held the governing power in order to do whats right n deleting whats wrong. That is so comical.

U can do what is right in your mind no matter who u r. If u are honest with yourself and really want to uphold righteousness, people will give the respect and the support u need. U may not end up at the highest peak in the political hierarchy, but your true intention will inspire more people in a good way than those with high political title. In long run, you'll be a legend.

Politics in Msia is not about doing what is right n preventing what is wrong, it is about holding the power. One single word, Power.

Same thing when i go back except i dont have to walk that long but more waiting time and on the train ride the windows become mirror-like because of the darkness outside. So i have a good long time looking at myself through out the journey. What i want to point out is tht, the eyes reflected back, are a very empty pair of eyes. Why and for how long..

it has been a cheerful day at work,
it has also been 3 weeks since i started my internship.

it started with me being so afraid of the challenges, then as i learn n learn throughout these weeks, now, im just eager to solve the problem.

For instance, today; i have achieved something :D

im so not in the mood to explain what my work is about, so i just skip to what i've done today.

Before, it was all about understanding the problem, people keep asking what i've done, but i cant really give them a satisfied answer.

Today, a colleague ask me a favor, n i've done it.

i dont know how to use visual basic before coz i only learnt access (n a bit of visual basic in the access ofcoz but it was just about copying the text written on the board) in my uni.

But today, i manage to improve the interface program and make it easier for my colleague to extract the information in it. Imagine that, visual basic, something i never even put my thought on or study before, n now i have done something to the company.. =)

it felt good.
my real task takes ofcoz a more complicated solution.
i need time to investigate a lot of stuff as the error can occur at any level of the system n there r a lot of errors.
On top of that, i need a spy computer which i cant take as i please coz a lot of people need it too, n even to go to take it, i need my godfather who has the access to the room to accompany me.
oh wait, thats not enough, i also sometimes need a technician next to me, like for instance today, i need a technician near me as i want to change the cable connected because they have to stop the production line n there is a possibility of reinitialization of the automate. An experienced technician is needed coz anything can go wrong.
but.. he was absent..
It could be for any reason, absent, busy with other stuff (which happens a lot), these stuff makes u unable to continue with your work.

So, it has to be tomorrow.. we'll see..

in the end, i need these clear target missions to make me happy n energetic, coz i can easily understand them n make sum people satisfied. In other words, i need some small accomplishment in these long n tiresome path.

i saw a girl today, she works at the ticket kaunter of GSC Sunway in seb. perai. Ofcourse i was to shy to say anythin relevant to her.. i was with my 2 other friends to watch the movie UP. We went at the kaunter, bought 4 tickets, then off we go. But i did say her name out loud coz of its uniqueness.. "Bella" with a smile, i left. And the story ends there... what a day. Now i'll never see her again coz im leaving for France this Sunday.

I went to Royal Perak Golf Club yesterday.
We had a free evening, my brother in law is a member, so my sis sent me n my little niece over there to enjoy the new awaited swimming pool.

First of all, i wasnt wearing the right pants, only tight or underwear-like pants r allowed, like the swimming pool i went to in France. i was wearing a beach pants..

but the Indian guy was kind and he let this first timer rule breaker to jump into the pool n to avoid the manager's radar at all time. Which means i cant really move freely n to remain in the water if an old chinese guy who is the manager of that place, passes by. Which he did by the way..

When i was enjoying my little swimming with my niece, i notice some chinese doing some 'kuak lentang'.
As time passes by, more Chinese arrived, and when it reached 6pm, the place (pool, gym, etc2) was fulled with Chinese.

Everywhere there's only Chinese. There were only few malays who passed by just to look around then went away.

What i dont understand is, this is a "Royal" club,
and in a royal standard place, which i think is the highest standard in Msia, it is fulled with Chinese?

im not being racist, but where are the Malays??

woow, its been awhile since i wrote sumthin here. wats d point of having a blog when u dun write stuff in it right?
Well, i have my reasons.

One of them being a bit busy with exams and project before. And during holiday, (started last Friday) i was busy enjoying my free time. i didnt go to any far place, just in this warm cozy studio of mine.
As u can see here, a glimpse from a tiny amount of events witness by my eyes from the start of this long awaited holiday.

Yeah, its St Andreas n i was looking for the 100 gang tags n tht is the location map on my pc. i know ppl play gta4 now, but i dunt even have ps3 n i never played st Andreas coz of lack of certain qualities in my laptop. Infact, this ps2 is not even mine, including all of its games ( i have to mention the games coz it cost sumthin here, unlike in Msia). There r my seniors, who's also my neighbour.

He doesnt play his ps anymore so he gave it to me. i didnt took it before coz i dunt have a proper tv. i just bought the flat screen above. my old tv wont even let me to search for channels, let alone to choose the mode AV. It was a hotel tv. bought it when i first arrived here.

Anywho, now i can watch BBC again n enjoy movies on a bigger n better screen. Gosh my studios est parfait.

There's another reason y its been while since i wrote in my blog, n this is the real reason for this entry.

i don't think im calibre enough to write something for other people, not now.

At the request of the Group of 20 summit of rich and developing nations, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development named the Philippines, Uruguay, Costa Rica and the Malaysian territory of Labuan as the worst offenders, saying they had refused to adopt new rules on financial openness.
Leaders also said Thursday that nations that refuse to exchange tax information could in the future face tough sanctions - including the withdrawal of financing by the World Bank or International Monetary Fund.
"The time of banking secrecy has passed," French President Nicholas Sarkozy said following the summit. "Everyone around the table wants an end to tax havens. Everyone knows we need sanctions."
The announcement reflects mounting concern that banking secrecy in tax havens has helped to worsen the economic crisis by disguising the true value of some global assets.
Anti-poverty activists say such places provide corrupt officials places to stash illicit funds, often depriving poor nations of needed resources.
The OECD has divided countries into three categories: those who comply with rules on sharing tax information, those who say they will but have yet to act and nations which have not yet agreed to change banking secrecy practices.
Switzerland and Liechtenstein, which both have strong banking secrecy traditions, said last month they would adopt international rules on tax cooperation and were ready to comply with G-20 demands.
Liechtenstein, Switzerland's tiny Alpine neighbor, said it has already met with British officials to prepare for the new standards. Monaco said earlier that it would be more transparent with foreign tax authorities.
In return they were spared the fate of being blacklisted but were left in a gray area of countries that still have to implement their commitment to accept new information-exchange standards. China supported the blacklisting, but would not agree to have two territories, Hong Kong and Macau, classified as uncooperative tax havens.
Potential sanctions for transgressors include extra audits of those who use tax havens and curbs on tax deductions claimed by businesses using the territories.
In their communique, leaders said they may consider further penalties in their bilateral relations with tax haven territories. German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Brown and President Barack Obama played a key role in pushing for a crackdown on tax havens.
At least 35 offshore tax havens, from Britain's Channel Islands to the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean, are under increasing pressure to provide more information to international authorities to prevent people from evading taxes or hiding income by shifting money to such places.
Stephen Timms, financial secretary to the British Treasury, said a culture of banking secrecy had worsened global economic problems.
"That lack of transparency - that opaqueness - has contributed to the severity of the problems we are seeing in the world economy at the moment," he said. - AP

Finally! After 7 months (if im not mistaken..) of waiting! It finally landed inside Metz's Virgin's store!
i didnt buy it on the internet, didnt download the dvdrip version of it and deny the lust to took it from friend's pc.
It bought my heart when it feeds my 2 senses in Aix's cinema last summer, since then, i knew,
i would only see it again on a dvd i'll soon buy in France.
Its the only way for me to honor such an incredible work of art.

Months after months of relentless waiting..
and i had almost given up a few times..

But ca vaut le coup.
And perfect timing too, just after i finish my exam,
the only regret is i have given back the big tv to my senior.
i didnt want to buy the dvd on the net, not just bcoz of the high transportation cost, but i want it 2 b d first dvd i ever bought in France.
Well, tht didnt came true coz after my friend seduce me to buy 3 dvds a few weeks ago which cost only 5euros each..
Anyway, this one cost me like 25euros and it came with a tshirt(which im wearing right now!) with an additional cost of 1euro.

the feeling of getting sumthin u have been waiting for for a very long time..
totally worth it.

but base on his decision, it kind of looks like he's desperate and has to bow down to BN.

What did Najib said to him?
They didnt gain majority in Perak, the number of Adun is 28-28.
So, why Sultan made such a decision??

funny to c tht when PR took over Perak, first time a party other than the BN took power over that state, the sworn in went smoothly, but now tht BN comes back, there were huge protest by few thousand ppl which were fought by tear gases from the police.

At that time, i was so disagree with her, but i kept my mouth shut.

A couple of years ago, i realize how this is true.
but, sometimes, human forgets which let to selfishness.

what we feel is not important, what people that we care feel does, even with the one that we think he/she would care.

We try to make ppl around happy,
but, with ppl that we think they'ld understand us, we tend to forget about tht and end up being selfish with them.

That is a mistake.
no one is excluded. we have to keep whatever there is inside, and always think of how to help those people that we care.

I was going through the Apple's website when i found this.

I really love this video. its the first promotional video i've ever seen which they show the machining processes.

Their concept, their way of explaining their product is admiring.

And most of all, they use the mechanical terms.
Usually this type of video, only shown by my lecturer to regain our attention which i always wonder where he got those boring videos from..

This one is totally impressive and inspiring.

Oh yea, i've just finished editing this 2009's blog.
this is like d longest time i've ever spent for a blog's template. (A few hours)

Usually, i just choose one on d net and did a few html editing,
but for this one, oh boy, after studying the original html, i've learned a lot and i think i've become quite good with this stuff.

i feel that this year, i want to do more to my blog and really personalize it, so i've changed most of the feature. To see the comparison, here's a small photo of the original template:

i quicken my pace towards the bus stop to reach my home as fast as i can, i know its kind of useless coz i still have to wait for the bus, but the feeling of coming back home, it brought me joy and lighten my body.

But then i stopped, and it occurred to me.

My friend has gone back to his place.

Why am i in such a hurry?

Breakthrough in dengue fever

MELBOURNE (Jan 2, 2009): Australian researchers have made a breakthrough that could curb the spread of the mosquito-borne dengue fever virus.

Scientists from the University of Queensland said they had proven that they could limit the lifespan of the Aedes aegypti, which spreads the disease.

In a paper published in the prestigious international journal, Science, the researchers said they could halve the insects' lifespan by infecting them with a bacterium that is harmless to humans and other animals.

The breakthrough could dramatically curtail the insects' potential to spread the disease because only older mosquitoes can transmit it to humans, Brisbane's Courier Mail newspaper reported.

PhD student Conor McMeniman, who carried out the research, used super-fine needles to manually inject 10,000 mosquito embryos with the bacterium, then encouraged the surviving mosquitoes to feed on his own blood.

"We ended up having to inject thousands of embryos to achieve success, but it was well and truly worth it in the end," he was quoted as saying.

Professor Scott O'Neill, head of the university's School of Biological Sciences, said researchers would now conduct field experiments in northern Queensland.

"If that proves successful, we hope to deploy this new dengue control measure in other parts of Australia, as well as Thailand and Vietnam," Professor O'Neill said.

There is no vaccine or cure for dengue fever. It harms up to 100 million people and kills more than 20,000 every year. -- BERNAMA
